Naturopathy is a holistic form of treatment, which encompasses all aspects of an individual including the mind, body and spirit.
Naturopathy aims to identify and treat the root cause of a problem, rather than apply a ‘band-aid’ treatment to the affected area, be it emotional or physical. For this reason, sometimes treatment may take longer, but helps to prevent reoccurrence of the problem in the future. Every client is seen as an individual and every treatment plan is customized by Zoë especially for you.
Zoë uses mainly herbal medicine, nutritional medicine, and dietary and lifestyle advice in her treatments. She also has specific interest in women’s health and hormones. Naturopathy may be useful for you if you suffer from any of the following:
- weight problems;
- skin problems;
- stress and anxiety;
- thyroid problems; and
- many more issues and complaints.
Naturopathy is a safe and effective approach to your health and entire wellbeing.
Iridology is an alternative medicine technique whose proponents claim that patterns, colors, and other characteristics of the iris can be examined to determine information about a patient’s systemic health. Practitioners match their observations to iris charts, which divide the iris into zones that correspond to specific parts of the human body. Iridologists see the eyes as “windows” into the body’s state of health.
Iridologists use the charts to distinguish between healthy systems and organs in the body and those that are overactive, inflamed, or distressed. Iridologists believe this information demonstrates a patient’s susceptibility towards certain illnesses, reflects past medical problems, or predicts later health problems.
Hair Mineral Analysis
Hair mineral analysis is a safe, non-invasive test that measures the levels and comparative ratios of nutrients and toxic metals found in hair. Hair mineral analysis can detect whether there is an excess or deficiency of vital nutrient minerals such as calcium, potassium, zinc and iron. It can also identify over-exposure to toxic metals such as aluminium, lead, arsenic and mercury. HMA is an invaluable screening tool in both every day and preventive health care.
This test provides a reading of the minerals deposited in the cells and interstitial spaces of the hair over a 2-3 month period. It does not provide an assessment of the mineral content of other tissues of the body. However, testing the hair can allow one to infer what is occurring in other tissues.
