Chiropractor Shelley Chen has always been interested in the structure and function of the human body. She chose to study Chiropractic after she witnessed the complete resolution of her mother’s severe migraines that she had endured for over 20 years. Shelley graduated from Murdoch as member of the inaugural class. Shelley has worked in practices in the Perth CBD and Midland and as a locum around Perth and in country WA.
Shelley mainly utilises low force techniques such as Activator, Drop Piece, and SOT as well as some Diversified. Chiropractic techniques are used in conjunction with trigger point soft tissue therapy as well as Graston Technique. Shelley has also trained in Webster Technique to help with pregnant women.
In addition to looking after patients of all ages, Shelley has a special interest in babies, children and mums-to-be along with sports and rehabilitation. Shelley has gained her post graduate qualification of International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma (ICSSD) and this allows her to work with elite athletes at an International level.
